Cybersecurity Awareness and Cyber Hygiene Campaigns: Awareness activities were conducted across Botswana, including the Central, Chobe, North-East, North-West, Kgalagadi and Kgatleng Districts, targeting schools, kgotlas and various institutions to promote safe online behaviour, cyber hygiene and digital safety.
Media and Public Outreach Programmes: Botswana CSIRT participated in radio, television and community engagement platforms to raise public awareness of cybersecurity, online safety and emerging cyber threats.
Cybersecurity Competitions and Community Engagements: BOCRA hosted and participated in initiatives such as the Cybelympics Competition held on 5th March 2026, school debates, Safer Internet Day and other outreach programmes promoting cybersecurity knowledge and skills development.
